Today I’ll be looking at three new Niagara condo developments that have gathered attention recently. These developments are in varying phases of completion, from near complete to beginning construction.
77 Yates St.
The new 77 Yates condominium development is a luxury condo project you won’t find elsewhere in Niagara. Located in the Yates Street Heritage District, this condo development boasts it will be the crown jewel of St. Catharine’s downtown core.
The condos are designed to be sleek, sophisticated, and modern. The development has six floors, with 37 units. The new development also features an exclusive rooftop terrace, Club 77. The rooftop club features a party room, a fitness centre, and BBQ stations. The costs for this luxury development range from $640,000 - $1,300,000.
A new condominium development located in Wainfleet is moving forward. The development is located on the shores of Lake Erie; the former Easter Seals Lakewood Camp site. The proposed development will have 41 units, and will be built by SGL Planning & Design Inc.
As part of conservation efforts in Wainfleet, the developers have worked closely with the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Natural Resources to ensure that there are no negative environmental impacts; especially important as the new development is close to the endangered Fowler’s Toad habitat. Pricing information for this new development has yet to be announced.
The RISE Townhomes Niagara condo development is located on Robinson Street North in Grimsby. The development has entered the construction phase, and is completely sold out with an expected completion date of March 2018.
The new residential developments will have a total of 16 units. The sizes of the units range from 1664-1757 square feet. The townhomes have been described by the developer as being linear in design, with complimentary warm woods and 9 foot ceilings. The prices for the units range from $459,000-$484,900 depending on the size of the unit.
